When our clients purchased their house they loved everything, except the very Tuscan style kitchen. The space was old, dark and dated and did not reflect their style.
For the design we went with simple white perimeter cabinets and black island. Tiffany really wanted to make the room feel larger and brighter but needed more drama than the white on white kitchen.
While the kitchen is calm and collected, the warm leather barstools bring an unexpected casual feel to the kitchen.
The new cabinets and light backsplash brightened the space and no longer feels dark and dated.
Removing the angled shaped peninsula helped open up the space and makes the room feel large and inviting. As a mother of high school football players, Tiffany told me she wanted a place where her kids could invite friends and hangout after school.
This kitchen is the perfect blend of modern, contemporary and transitional styles and is a true reflection of the client’s beautifully eclectic tastes.
To help mix up the black, white and glass different tones of wood were added to bring warmth and texture to the space.
The large single bowl sink anchors the gorgeous black faucet.
